Why Meditation is Important for Your Healing?

Meditation, scary?

In my own healing journey, meditation plays an important role. I would never imagine that meditation would literally got me out of the mess in my life. I have been in difficult situations that I would call it life changing moments or points in my life.

I had a few miscarriages, betrayed and hurt by many people, backstabbed at work, you name it. But the saddest part is when it was done by my closest and dearest one. I had to go though hell and back, you might say.

I have been into therapies myself, but found out later on during pandemic that the permanent healing is actually when I am doing my own healing. Do shadow work, release any fear, blockages that made me stuck and couldn’t pursue my dreams and desires. Even forgiving those who have ‘wronged’ me in the past for whatever reasons.

During pandemic, there was literally little movement out of the house, and thankfully, it made me able to care for myself more, and more time to go within.

I began to do meditation, starting from the simplest one, to just connect to my own breathing in and out. And surprisingly it felt really good. I began by listening to a guided meditation free on youtube and day by day and step by step, and before I know, it has been four years now.

When I do my meditation, I feel more at ease and more relax, as I know how to protect myself ‘energetically’, if you know what I mean.

I wish this blog would help people who are also feeling the same way that help is available. I used to feel so much especially when I was little and it wasn’t easy. I didn’t know then but I knew now. I knew better about myself. And by knowing myself more, I could do better healing for myself and even help others to do the same.

When doing meditation, it is best if you don’t think of it as scary, as you only connect to yourself when doing meditation. Nothing more, nothing less. So, if you have any thought or your mind is wandering carelessly, let it be. Let it pass, when you don’t engage.
